Because this is a relatively short story, I'm going to post the link under the title of this article so people don't think I've edited the story, but I'm also going to copy/paste it below so I can make my own comments in bold red.
Before I begin.... Why is it that liberals LOVE their First Amendment rights so long as the message agrees with them?

A coalition of more than 30 mostly liberal organizations has sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission urging the agency to monitor “hate speech” on talk radio and cable news networks. OK.... I want to know what they mean about "hate speech"? Do they mean the conservative side of this great nation of ours that doesn't like what Obama is doing to it? Is that "hate speech" to them, because if it is, then they were just as guilty of "hate speech" when W was in office. Don't you just LOVE the fact that liberals love their First Amendment rights when it's good for their side?
The groups assert in the letter that “hate, extremism and misinformation have been on the rise . . . as the media has focused on Arizona’s passage of one of the harshest pieces of anti-Latino legislation in this country’s history.” Um.... yeah... right. Going back to the Bush years is all I'm going to say about the "hate". Extremism???? Like the left is innocent of such things. Misinformation!?!?!? That's been the Obama Administration's mantra!!!! "Well... we're going to have to vote on the thing before we can figure out what's in it." - Nancy Peloci on the health care reform bill. Boy... were WE misinformed on that one! Health care costs down? I don't think so. A cheap alternative? I REALLY don't think so. Same thing with Obama's "stimulus" package which had only put us into greater debt than George W Bush EVER put us into during his 8 years. Why do I mention this? Because Obama CONTINUES to blame Bush for our current economic status. Lastly.... I'm tired of saying this, but I will.... Mexico has tougher immigration laws than we do and they DO enforce them. Instead of continuing with this tirade, I'm going to give you a link to another blog that I wrote about that goes over some of Mexico's immigration law. Click here.
The organizations include the Center for Media Justice, the Rainbow Push Coalition, the League of United Latin American Citizens, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers, and Common Cause. Go figure.... When are people going to see the light and see that this ISN'T ABOUT RACISM!?!?!?!?!? It's about protecting our country and it's national identity!!!
“As traditional media have become less diverse and less competitive, they have also grown less responsible and less responsive to the communities that they are supposed to serve,” the letter states. Yeah... like CNN (aka the Communist News Network), MSNBC, The Associated Press, The Washington Times, and the list goes on of liberal media outposts....
“In this same atmosphere hate speech thrives, as hate has developed as a profit-model for syndicated radio and cable television programs masquerading as ‘news.’” Again, like CNN (aka the Communist News Network), MSNBC, The Associated Press, The Washington Times, and the list goes on of liberal media outposts....
The coalition did not mention any specific media outlets. That's because they know that their liberal media friends are just as guilty if not more so that their conservative counterparts in Fox News. Duh....
The groups also argue that the Internet has made it more difficult for the public to separate “the facts from bigotry masquerading as news,” The Hill newspaper reports. Again, like all the aforementioned liberal news media.
The Internet “gives the illusion that news sources have increased, but in fact there are fewer journalists employed now than ever before,” according to the coalition. That's because "journalism" is a dying art. It's not about getting to the truth. It's about ratings and about the message the "news" outlet wants to get out there. Obama LOVES everyone but Fox News and that's because they are the only ones who oppose him.
“Moreover, on the Internet, speakers can hide in the cloak of anonymity, emboldened to say things that they may not say in the public eye." Again, the left is just as guilty.
“For these reasons, as the Commission deliberates how the public interest will be served in the digital age, it should consider the extent of hate speech in media, and its effects.” And it better include the hate speech that's being spread by the liberal media and even in Congress from people like Peloci. You can't get much more hateful than saying that you saw people opposed to Obama wearing swastikas.
