Something for Obama Supporters to Think About

I got this from a friend and I added a few things. Regardless of what Obama supporters might think, none of the following is a lie. This is all truths based on Obama and what he has either done or not done during his presidency. Something for Obama supporters to think about.

IF George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had refused to prove his citizenship (something required by the Constitution) to become the President, would you have demanded he do so?

If George W. Bush would have held an official conference of any kind without the American Flag on stage with him, would you have said that he's unAmerican and unpatriotic?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had gone to Europe in Air Force One just to promote Dallas, Texas to host the Olympics, would you have shouted that he's wasting our tax money?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia or the Emperor of Japan, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment to later laughed at his "incompetence"?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word "advice" would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had mispronounced the word "Corpsman", would you have given him grief?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had taken 14 days to tour the Gulf Coast after Katrina hit (including a vacation during this time), would you have given him a pass?

If George W. Bush had created the position of 32 or more Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had spent more than all the Presidents combined since George Washington, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. You have until November 2012 to come up with an answer!

The "New" Pledge of Allegiance

I saw this on a "Love I Barack Obama" type web site. I just wish I could have come up with something this clever.

The "New" Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance

To the flag

Of Barack Husssein Obama

And to the dictatorship

For which it stands

One nation

Under martial law

Totalitarianism

With wealth and money for all

First Amendment Rights Violation

Because this is a relatively short story, I'm going to post the link under the title of this article so people don't think I've edited the story, but I'm also going to copy/paste it below so I can make my own comments in bold red.

Before I begin.... Why is it that liberals LOVE their First Amendment rights so long as the message agrees with them?

By: Jim Meyers

A coalition of more than 30 mostly liberal organizations has sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission urging the agency to monitor “hate speech” on talk radio and cable news networks. OK.... I want to know what they mean about "hate speech"? Do they mean the conservative side of this great nation of ours that doesn't like what Obama is doing to it? Is that "hate speech" to them, because if it is, then they were just as guilty of "hate speech" when W was in office. Don't you just LOVE the fact that liberals love their First Amendment rights when it's good for their side?

The groups assert in the letter that “hate, extremism and misinformation have been on the rise . . . as the media has focused on Arizona’s passage of one of the harshest pieces of anti-Latino legislation in this country’s history.” Um.... yeah... right. Going back to the Bush years is all I'm going to say about the "hate". Extremism???? Like the left is innocent of such things. Misinformation!?!?!? That's been the Obama Administration's mantra!!!! "Well... we're going to have to vote on the thing before we can figure out what's in it." - Nancy Peloci on the health care reform bill. Boy... were WE misinformed on that one! Health care costs down? I don't think so. A cheap alternative? I REALLY don't think so. Same thing with Obama's "stimulus" package which had only put us into greater debt than George W Bush EVER put us into during his 8 years. Why do I mention this? Because Obama CONTINUES to blame Bush for our current economic status. Lastly.... I'm tired of saying this, but I will.... Mexico has tougher immigration laws than we do and they DO enforce them. Instead of continuing with this tirade, I'm going to give you a link to another blog that I wrote about that goes over some of Mexico's immigration law. Click here.

The organizations include the Center for Media Justice, the Rainbow Push Coalition, the League of United Latin American Citizens, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers, and Common Cause. Go figure.... When are people going to see the light and see that this ISN'T ABOUT RACISM!?!?!?!?!? It's about protecting our country and it's national identity!!!

“As traditional media have become less diverse and less competitive, they have also grown less responsible and less responsive to the communities that they are supposed to serve,” the letter states. Yeah... like CNN (aka the Communist News Network), MSNBC, The Associated Press, The Washington Times, and the list goes on of liberal media outposts....

“In this same atmosphere hate speech thrives, as hate has developed as a profit-model for syndicated radio and cable television programs masquerading as ‘news.’” Again, like CNN (aka the Communist News Network), MSNBC, The Associated Press, The Washington Times, and the list goes on of liberal media outposts....

The coalition did not mention any specific media outlets. That's because they know that their liberal media friends are just as guilty if not more so that their conservative counterparts in Fox News. Duh....

The groups also argue that the Internet has made it more difficult for the public to separate “the facts from bigotry masquerading as news,” The Hill newspaper reports. Again, like all the aforementioned liberal news media.

The Internet “gives the illusion that news sources have increased, but in fact there are fewer journalists employed now than ever before,” according to the coalition. That's because "journalism" is a dying art. It's not about getting to the truth. It's about ratings and about the message the "news" outlet wants to get out there. Obama LOVES everyone but Fox News and that's because they are the only ones who oppose him.

“Moreover, on the Internet, speakers can hide in the cloak of anonymity, emboldened to say things that they may not say in the public eye." Again, the left is just as guilty.

“For these reasons, as the Commission deliberates how the public interest will be served in the digital age, it should consider the extent of hate speech in media, and its effects.” And it better include the hate speech that's being spread by the liberal media and even in Congress from people like Peloci. You can't get much more hateful than saying that you saw people opposed to Obama wearing swastikas.
